Rescan
The optional Rescan feature is available only if your business process incorporates an image-management system such as FileNet. It allows users to request rescanning for poor-quality images attached to work items.
This feature includes a standalone Rescan application that allows users to rescan images attached to work items.
The user selects one or more reasons from a list, and the system sends the work item to the Rescan Application. It also logs an event.
If the system incorporates optional Notes functionality, then it also records a note specifying the reason(s), to which the user can add a comment.
We can build this feature into the Index, Exception, and Return Correspondence applications.
Please do not confuse this optional feature with the Scan application.
