Optional Features Deliver Additional Functionality to Your Business Process

Optional features include:

The optional Pend feature allows users to temporarily remove work items from workflow. Users typically pend work items when information required to process them is not yet available.

The user accepts or modifies (within predefined limits) a default date and time, and the system temporarily removes the work item from workflow until then. It also logs an event.

If the system incorporates optional Notes functionality, then it also records a note specifying the date and time it will reintroduce the work item to workflow, to which the user can add a comment.

The system logs an event when it reintroduces the work item to workflow.

The user can choose to process pended work items before the system reintroduces them to workflow.

We can build this feature into the Exception, Return Correspondence, and Tax applications.
