No. Browser-based applications are appropriate in many circumstances, but we find their performance pales in a workflow environment, compared to desktop applications. For example, our users only have to wait about three-seconds to retrieve a work item. It would be virtually impossible to build a browser-based application that could retrieve and process work items that efficiently.
